Stumbling, they clutch each other’s frames
flimsy support in a world now only
Yesterday, snowfall: a slip
a laugh until nothing seemed to fit
footwear, tyres, gloom.
The world always knows
when to close back over
into scab and scar.
Today we take
our coats off
as we walk

Yes, I like the feeling of transition and uncertainty, the surety of which provides its own precarious certainty … 🙂
Ooh! Thank you, Orchid and Helen! There’s definitely a precariousness. I like the surety of uncertainty – 🙂
